IndianaWater.org
A state where water innovation works

Indiana is uniquely positioned to showcase water innovation with the first statewide Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) program. The state was invited to be part of the initial US EPA cohort of WIFIA recipients in 2017 and approved for $436 million of federal financing in 2018 that is expected to close in 2019.

At the same time, Indiana has taken steps to encourage collaboration among more than 500 water systems across its 92 counties. And its dynamic tech sector is driving innovation that can improve service and efficiency in the water sector.

As a result, new opportunities are taking shape for:

• deployment of innovative water technologies in targeted communities,
• centers of collaboration among regional, state and industry groups, and
• investment in water infrastructure, including public-private partnerships.

IndianaWater.org is an independent project being organized by Global Water Technologies, based in Indianapolis, Indiana. For more information on how you can participate, please contact us at: info@gwtr.com
