Global Water Technologies provides Q1 update
INDIANAPOLIS, March 31, 2023 — Global Water Technologies (OTC: GWTR) is providing shareholders with the following update at the end of the first quarter of 2023.
As noted after filing its Q3 financials and disclosure statement with OTC Markets last year, the company has been focused on its traditional non-chemical water treatment business and also reviewing merger and acquisition opportunities. It has successfully restarted sales in this area after ramping down to zero while navigating the pandemic. However, revenues have not yet been sufficient to pay increased compliance and subscription fees required for filing its 2022 annual report by today’s deadline and the company expects to move into the “Limited Information” category of OTC Markets in Q2 while it works to complete the updated filing information.
The company is also in active discussions regarding a new technology licensing agreement and is exploring financing opportunities related to that opportunity. It welcomes inquiries from existing shareholders who would like more information on these activities.
